We are HR people who gather together to learn and grow with one another. HR helping HR. It's who we are and what we do.

Our HR Support Club is technically a chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) but our focus is on our members' success. We meet monthly on the second Tuesday from 11:45AM - 1:00PM. We often have guest speakers to help us grow professionally and personally.

Annual membership in Western Arkansas HR Association (WAHRA -- our official name) is $75 per year. We welcome both members and guests to attend our monthly meetings. Monthly meetings are $30 which includes lunch. Nonmembers are welcome to attend monthly sessions for $40. We also have a special student rate of $15.

Whether you're a seasoned HR professional, new to the field, or exploring a career in human resources, we invite you to join us for valuable educational sessions, networking opportunities, and a great lunch.

For people who are SHRM (national) members!
HR Pros who are engaged in one or more of the following at the exempt or non-exempt levels: employment, placement or human resource planning; education, training or development; payroll, compensation or benefits; health, safety or risk management; employee and labor relations; or human resource research. This includes people who hold SHRM or HRCI certification; faculty members of colleges/ universities; full-time consultants practicing in the field of human resource management; and/or full-time attorneys with experience in counseling and advising on human resource related matters.

Membership expires at end of this calendar year.

Professional Membership (Non-SHRM Member) - $50.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Regular rate of $75/calendar year - Promotional Rate of $50 beginning July 1st

For people who are NOT SHRM (national) members.
Professionals who are associated with HR or support the HR function. This includes those who are SHRM or HRCI certified and who must earn continuing education credits to maintain certification. This also includes all facets of HR as outlined in first option listed above.

Student Membership (Non-voting) - $20.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: January 1st No automatically recurring payments Regular rate of $20/calendar year

For people who are pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Membership open to any college/university student who is studying human resource management, student services, counselling, business or an applicable field that leads to a career in Human Resources. Proof of enrollment will be required. Students must be 3/4 time or greater i.e. more than 9 credit hours per semester.
Student members will have rights and privileges to attend and participate in all conferences, meetings, and workshops but WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE to vote in business meetings or be eligible to hold office. Students may serve on committees at the appointment and discretion of the president.
