The State of Arkansas HR Professionals, the Arkansas HR State Council, the Local Chapters, and the Student Chapters are committed to continued professional education, training, and development. Since the 1980s, Arkansas SHRM has sponsored and organized an annual Human Resources State Conference with cutting-edge programs, nationally known speakers, and entertaining conference themes. In fact, we were one of the first to have themes, garnering us quite the reputation about SHRM affiliates, making our event one that is copied and emulated by other State Councils and State Conferences across the country.
