Creating Welcoming Spaces
Presented by Brigitta Toruño with UNO Translations and Communications, LLC, Washington DC
Equal employment opportunity is paramount from both a legal and ethical perspective for every single organization. Removal of roadblock that hamper employment opportunity has long since been a conversation when the topics of gender or ethnic parity occur. Yet, an often overlooked element is language barrier. In the workshop, Brigitta Toruño will discuss how language barrier impeded opportunity for the individual as well as the organization.
