EEOC 2021 Update

by Debra Finney, Outreach and Education Manager with the EEOC, Memphis, TN

The EEOC notes many significant changes occurred in 2020.  Hosted by EEOC's Debra Finney, this session takes a deep look at the Bostock decision and recent EEOC issued documents on the matter.  Additionally, Debra examines the latest EEOC guidance on vaccinations and incentives for vaccinations.  Finally, we will take a look at other EEOC changes and updates.

Objectives:   Understand the scope of Bostock and be able to apply that their workplace policies and practices.   Identify the proper procedures for requiring vaccinations and how to address the issue when someone is unable to take the vaccine for religious or medical reasons.    Define when incentives can be offered and analyze the guidance to develop a legally compliant incentive program.

This is a Zoominar session.   Registrants will receive the link in their confirmation emails.

Leading with Respect - Lessons Learned by the EEOC  has been submitted to SHRM and HRCI.  Approvals are  pending.
