This session will provide overviews of recent changes as well as guidance for compliance to US DOL's Wage and Hour regulations.
Topics will include Final Rule on Defining and Delimiting the Exemptions for Executive, Administrative, Professional, Outside Sales and Computer Employees; Joint Employer Status under the Fair Labor Standards Act; Final Rule on Fluctuating Workweek Method of Computing Overtime; Employers’ obligation to exercise reasonable diligence in tracking teleworking employees’ hours of work; Final Rule on Partial lists of establishments that lack or may have a “retail concept” under the Fair Labor Standards Act; and the Final Rule on Regular Rate under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Any updates to the paid leave requirements under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act will also be covered. The ultimate goal is the provide attendees with the latest guidance on these regulatory changes and discuss how these may affect their business operations.
