Emotional Intelligence:
Practical Applications in Support of Strategic Goals
Emotional Intelligence, aka EQ, was popularized by Disney with his animated feature Reason and Emotion in which his team explains how dictators use emotions to influence behaviors. Participants will gain practical insights into the impact of emotions on thoughts and behaviors in the workplace. Participants will be introduced to the use of assessment instruments and learn how to intercept triggers. Ultimately, the experience will lead participants to a better understanding and more effective emotion management will enhance their ability to influence others in a desired fashion.
This session is presented by Sandy Tush, Senior Facilitator and Program Manager at The Soderquist Center. Prior to joining Soderquist, Tush was the program manager of Executive Development Center for Walmart Stores, Inc.
